Overview
Specimen Track’s LoRaWAN Smart Rumen Bolus for Cattle Temperature and Activity is a smart electronic device designed to monitor cattle rumen temperature, activity, and movement. It features heat detection, calving alerts, and early illness notifications, with a mobile app that allows remote herd access from anywhere. This product leverages LoRaWAN technology for reliable long-range communication, making it ideal for modern farm data collection in livestock management. The bolus is eco-friendly and safe for animals, remaining in the rumen after insertion. All data is transmitted automatically to a LoRa Base Station and then to a cloud platform, allowing farmers, vets, and scientists to monitor and respond to health issues anytime, anywhere. Early detection enables proactive intervention, helping farmers reduce disease severity and maximize farm efficiency.
