Overview
The rugged RFID wrist strap tag is suited for personnel tracking and monitoring in healthcare, time in attendance, security and other related applications. The tag allows for a wide range of user-supplied wrist straps to be used to attach the tag to the wearer’s wrist and is splash proof. It can incorporate a motion sensor which provides instant notification of an attempt to move a tag through rapid alert transmissions for 5 seconds. It has a collision avoidance algorithm function which can reduce loss of data caused by simultaneous transmissions from multiple tags. This power-saving active RFID tag is sealed to IP64 standards and has a long lifespan of almost 3 years when transmitting at the standard or greater interval. In addition, various preset transmission intervals are available.
